Strut Your Mutt is a series of charity dog walks that brings communities together to raise money and save the lives of homeless pets. Those who take part in this annual fundraising event can choose to support and raise funds for Best Friends or their favorite local participating animal welfare organization. But it’s much more than a fundraising walk. Strut Your Mutt is a fun-filled festival where four-, three- and two-legged participants of all ages can take part in activities like doggie yoga, pet portraits, music, contests and more.
In 2018, participants came together to show their support for the animals and together, they raised more than $2.3 million — with just under $2 million of that going straight to over 350 participating Best Friends Network partners (shelters, rescue groups and other animal welfare organizations). The goal for 2019 is to raise $2.6 million. You can view a list of 2019 participating partners here.
