BRAVES TAKE THE 2021 WORLD SERIES

The Atlanta Braves are the 2021 World Series Champions as Atlanta defeated the Astros 7-0 in Game Six of the World Series in Houston. Jorge Soler, Dansby Swanson, and Freddie Freeman homered for the Braves. And that was as Max Fried pitched six scoreless innings to pick up the win for Atlanta. The Astros finished with just six hits.

It's the first championship for the Braves since 1995, but that’s not the only reason the city is celebrating. The Braves’ win last night was the first championship in any major sport since Braves won in 1995.

Someone celebrating a little more than everyone else? Braves outfielder Jorge Soler. He’s being recognized for his efforts in helping lead Atlanta to a World Series victory and has been named the Willie Mays World Series MVP. He hit three home runs in the series for Atlanta over the six games. And fun fact? Soler is also the second Cuban to win the World Series MVP, after Livan Hernandez won it for the Marlins in 1997.

BRITNEY SPEARS' ATTORNEY PUSHING ON AGAINST HER FATHER IN COURT

While a judge has ruled that Britney Spears’ dad Jamie is to be removed as her conservator, the singer’s lawyer isn’t about to let him get off that easy. Brit’s lawyer Matthew Rosengart has filed legal documents insisting that the only reason Jamie changed his tune and started pushing for the judge to end the conservatorship is so he could hide his wrongdoings.

He argues that Jamie’s moves are all designed to try and get him out of a deposition where he’d have to answer questions under oath about how he treated Britney, specifically about the allegations he bugged Britney’s bedroom. In his filing, Rosengart is demanding "all documents and communications relating to any recording or listening device” in Brit’s home, as well as “all documents and communications relating to the decision to place any such recording or listening device and the records of any such recording."

He also wants all documentation and communication relating to “electronic surveillance, monitoring, cloning, or recording of the activity” on Brit’s phone. Meanwhile, yesterday Jamie filed his own set of documents requesting Brit's conservatorship end immediately, insisting he doesn't want any compensation, and that he's willing to hand over all of his files so it could all be over.
